Regulation 44 Independent Visits
Monthly visits providing independent oversight, reviewing safety, wellbeing, safeguarding culture, leadership, staff competence, records, care planning, and children’s lived experience. Deliverables:
- Observations and interviews with children and staff
- Review of records, incidents, complaints, and outcomes
- Practical recommendations to improve everyday life for children
- Clear Regulation 44 report aligned to Ofsted expectations
Regulation 32 Pre-Inspection Readiness
Prepare homes for inspection with compliance and evidence-ready practice. Covers recruitment, training, supervision, care planning, risk management, safeguarding, leadership, policies, audits, premises suitability, and children’s participation. Outputs include gap analysis, evidence index, action plan, mock interviews, and “inspection day” staff briefing.
Responsible & Nominated Individual Support
Strengthen statutory oversight and governance. Includes role charters, visit programmes, board-level reporting templates, KPI dashboards, issue escalation workflows, and audit & assurance cycles.
Children’s Participation & Lived Experience Reviews
Actively involve children and young people in service evaluation. Capture their voices and experiences to inform practice, improve outcomes, and enhance service quality.
Safeguarding Culture & Practice Assurance
Review organisational culture, safeguarding practices, and operational processes to ensure services meet regulatory expectations and maintain the highest safety standards.
